Brigade Group has launched Brigade Altius, a project with a revenue potential of ₹1,700 crore.
This comes as the company aims to double its growth in Chennai across residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality sectors, according to Pavitra Shankar, Managing Director, Brigade Enterprises Ltd.
Located in Sholinganallur, the project spans 6.5 acres with a total development area of 1.4 million square feet. This follows Brigade’s signing of a Joint Development Agreement to develop a residential project of approximately 1 million sq ft in Chennai, with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹800 crore in November 2024.
Recently, the company signed a definitive agreement for a land parcel on Whitefield-Hoskote Road. The planned residential project on this land is expected to have a GDV of nearly ₹2,700 crore. Brigade has a pipeline of upcoming residential projects, covering approximately 12.61 million sq ft of new developments across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
Founded in 1986, Brigade Enterprises Ltd. has a presence in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Kochi, Gift City-Gujarat, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangaluru, and Chikkamagaluru with developments across residential, office, retail, and hotels.
The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹236 crore for the quarter ended December 31, up by 322 per cent increase from the corresponding quarter last year. The growth, it noted was attributed to the completion of two residential towers each in Hyderabad and North Bengaluru.
