Oasis LIVE updates as gig hit with travel chaos after fans camp outside | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Fans who camped outside the Principality Stadium ahead of Oasis’s first gig have reportedly been given a huge surprise by the band, worth thousands of pounds.

As some fans camped overnight, hoping to get as close to the brothers on stage as possible, it was reported that their tickets were upgraded.

Lorraine correspondent Nick Dixon told the ITV show: “Some of the more passionate fans with tickets have been queuing up at different sections of the stadium since yesterday because they want to get in there as soon as the doors open at 5pm and rush to the stage.

“It turns out that the band and the band’s management had noticed the fact that they were there because all of a sudden, on the other side of the stadium, security rounded up the fans and moved them.”

He added: “We were at first wondering, ‘I hope they’re not being turfed out, they’ve got tickets,’ but actually security told me that the band spotted them and they’ve been moved to a different area – a VIP area.”
